Earlier this evening it was reported that DJ AM died. Most normal people's reactions would be "who?"
Now, i'm not trying to be rude or incensitive. If he did die of a drug overdose, what a selfish son of a bitch. I can't mourn over deaths due to selfishness.
This is what I do know about him. He dated Nicole Richie, obviously DJ's for many celebrities, and was in a near death plane crash with Travis Barker.
Other than that, I have no fucking clue who he is. And I have no idea why I should be sad or care. Many people die daily, some in car wrecks, some get shot, etc. Are those people any less important than some quasi-celebrity who possibly killed himself due to drug overdose.
I was sad for Kurt Cobain, but he ultmately was a coward in the end. He killed himself and left his widow and child to become a fucked up mess now days. Layne Staley, I was sad for him, but mainly cause he was a great presence in trumpeting the Seattle sound. When he died due to Heroine, it mad me feel disgraced and saddened.
There have been many drug overdoses in Hollywood and the celebrity scene. Most are significant. In this day and age of fame excess, if a minor known celeb dies, should we care even though his friends and family are mourning. Even if it's at their own hand.
I need to cut this one short. Storms in the area. I will end on this. I do feel bad for the loss of DJ AM for his friends and family. So don't get me wrong, i'm not a total careless asshole. I have a heart. God bless his friends and family for their sudden loss.

Avatar sneek peek!!!
I was one of the lucky thousands that got tickets to tonight's sneek peek. This movie is a beautiful spectacle to behold.
Here is a rundown of the scenes shown:
Jim Cameron introduction
Scene 1: A pep talk between a head sargeant and his recruits. Then of course we meet Jake as he wheels in on his wheelchair. The sargeant then says, "There are many life forms on this planet that will kill you, I'll want to save you, but I can't." He also tells them about the Navi and humanoids that the military has created.
Scene 2: Jake enters a lab where (Sigourney Weaver) oversees him. He crawls into a chamber, and then is operated on. (Weaver) follows him in the chamber to have the same thing done to her. There they become Navi like, big tall blue horse-esque creatures. This skin is deemed their avatar.
Scene 3: A team of avatars including Jake are on the planet. They encounter a hammerhead sort of Triceratops looking creature. The creature seems threatened by their presence. Jake bravely confronts it, only for it to back off to see a more deadly and hungry creature behind Jake. This creature chases Jake. Thus taking him far from his party and lost.
Scene 4: Lost and alone, Jake is attacked. Then he is rescued by a Navi warrior woman. She talks to him about the planet.
Scene 5: A short talking scene between Jake and the warrior girl. Showing off alot of the glowing plant life all around.
Scene 6: Jake and some Navi's are on a cliff making their way towards dragon-like creatures. Jake has to capture one to prove himself. He sneaks up on one, and the wrestles with it. Once done, he has to fly with it to establish a bond with the creature. He has some trouble at first, but gains control.
Montage: They show us a montage of action scenes, and landscapes. Showing off in an actual trailer style quick cut of scenes.
That was all. They also said we could be the first to purchase 12:01 am tickets for Dec. 17th for "Avatar." Tomorrow is when tickets go on advance sale to the public.
There you have it. This is the best 3D i've seen in IMAX. This will be a fun ride of a film. See it December 18th in IMAX 3D.

Don't You Forget About Me.....

It is with great sadness to report the loss of another icon. Director, Producer, and Writer John Hughes. He died August 6th, while having a heart attack while jogging in Manhattan.
His comedic timing, his use of music, and his writing put him on the map. He developed films that we could all relate to at any time. Whether it was a cross-country road trip with "National Lampoon's Vacation" or reminding us of our youth with such films as "The Breakfast Club", "Sixteen Candles", and "Ferris Bueler's Day Off." He also warmed our hearts with the "Home Alone" series and gave us memorable lines from his repertoire of films.
He alone can be credited to giving John Candy a great film career, as he always was keen to put him in something he worked on. The film affair began with "Vacation" and continued throughout the 80's and 90's with main roles and cameos. Their last film together was "Only The Lonely" which Hughes wrote, and also starred other Hughes vets, Ally Sheedy and Macualay Culkin.
Although he wrote many movies, he only directed and wrote 8 films. From those 8 films and the countless others he wrote and/or produced he gave us entertainment that's a timeless reminder of the 80's and 90's as well as stories we all can relate to. John Hughes, we will not forget about you. We will always have 16 candles lit at the breakfast club for ya.

Creep O' The Week: Ryan O' Neal!!!!
Ryan O' Neal hit on his daughter at Farrah Faucet's funeral. He saw a hot blonde approach the casket, and then asked for a drink from her. Not knowing, the woman was his own daughter, Tatum O' Neal.
I understand there's a strained relationship, but incest isn't gonna bring you two together. It will, in a weird very creepy very illegal way, but it'll add more issues to the fire. How do you not know what your own daughter looks like?
Even Micheal Lohan would disapprove of this behavior. He at least knows what Lindsay looks like, and has to stay away from her.
Ryan O' Neal you are the Creep O' The Week!!!!

A little about me the Blogstar!
I'm a 28 year old music, movie, videogame, tv show, entertainment lover. I've been all over the world. I've lived in California, Ohio, South Carolina, Turkey, and Panama (the actual country).
I've met many singers, celebs, and other notable people. Some by sheer accident, others by profession, and some cause i'm a fan.
I do relate to celebs, more than the average person. I just wanted to give a little insight to moi and my world. Mostly my day to day stuff is boring. Maybe if i'm feeling weird or goofy or pissed off at something. I'll use this area of my blog for more personal rantings and ravings. It'll be more coherent than a fake Dina Lohan twitter account.

I love Heroes, I love Hayden

Hayden Panetiere has great ability to look hot, even when acting goofy. That's why I find her extrememly attractive. I love her in "Heroes", "Ice Princess", even in "Raising Helen."
This is just a small tribute to her beautiful awesomeness. I know she is big on causes, such as saving whales, she even is helping out a fan via facebook who has cancer. What a big heart she has. Makes me really respect and appreciate her more. Love ya, Hayden. A big fan. XOXOXO
